Scope and core principles

These betting rules govern all wagers placed with Unibet (the operator) in connection with sports, events and markets offered by the platform. Acceptance of bets is conditional on the user completing age verification and complying with applicable anti‑money laundering and know‑your‑customer requirements. The operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these obligations or that are suspected of fraudulent activity.

Definitions and key terms

Event: a specific sporting or competitive occurrence featured for betting.
Market: a particular bet type on an event (e.g., winner, total goals, handicap).
Bet: a wager placed on a selected market and event.
Outcome: the result used for settlement, determined by official results or as otherwise specified in these rules.
Void: a bet or part of a bet is null and does not count toward settlement.
Non-runner: a participant or option that does not take part in the event for reasons other than disqualification.

Bet acceptance, stakes and eligibility

Minimum and maximum stake limits vary by sport, league, market and format. The exact values are shown in the stake field when placing a bet and are binding.
Unibet may refuse a bet in whole or in part at its sole discretion, including where a bet would be placed in breach of these rules or where an obvious error has occurred.
Bets are accepted online. Bets placed by telephone, email or other non‑online methods are void unless explicitly confirmed as accepted by Unibet in writing.
In a multi‑bet or accumulator, a non‑runner reduces to a void selection; the remaining selections settle as usual and the stake is adjusted accordingly.
Where a bet is placed after an event has started or after a participant has gained a material advantage, Unibet reserves the right to void or settle the bet based on the final official result and prevailing settlement rules.
All bets are settled based on decimal odds for the purpose of calculation, regardless of the odds format displayed to the customer.

Settlement, prices and corrections

Unibet may correct obvious pricing errors and reserve the right to apply revised odds for pre‑live (pre‑match) bets. Settlement of any bet occurs based on the final official result or the applicable market rules described herein.
In the event of a dispute, if official results are unavailable or inconsistent, Unibet may use independent evidence or its own statistics to determine settlement, subject to a final review by the operator.
Bets placed on an event after the outcome is already known or after a participant has gained a material advantage may be voided, wholly or partially, at Unibet’s discretion.
Unibet is not liable for losses arising from typing, input, or transmission errors that lead to price or market inaccuracies.

Live and in‑play betting

In‑play markets are offered for selected events and may include or exclude overtime depending on the market. Settlement is based on the official result for the relevant market, including whether overtime is included as stated in the market description.
Live bets may be suspended, voided or cancelled in the event of technical issues, abuse of the platform, or evidence of market manipulation.

Abandonments, postponements and rescheduling

If an event is postponed, cancelled or abandoned, the settlement of undecided bets is determined by the rules for the sport, including whether the match is completed within the applicable window (commonly within 24–48 hours). If the event is not completed within the specified window, undecided bets may be voided.
If a match is moved to a venue that changes the conditions of play or if the opponent changes, Unibet reserves the right to void or adjust settlements as required.

Special rules: market types and outcomes

Dead heat: when two or more competitors share a place, a pro‑rata adjustment applies to winnings in affected parts of the bet.
Over/Under, Handicap, Race to X, and other markets are settled only if the market is fully determined under the sport’s standard rules. If a market is not resolved, or a key component is void, the bet may be voided or settled in line with the specific market rules.
Outright markets (seasonal/competition winners) are settled based on the final official standings; if the event is not completed or the participant does not take part, bets may be voided.
In cases where a venue, format or participants differ from those stated, Unibet may void relevant bets.

Cash Out and partial Cash Out

Cash Out provides the option to settle a bet before the final result. The offered amount depends on the live development of the selection(s) and may be higher or lower than the original stake.
Cash Out is available on selected events and markets, pre‑match and in‑play, for single and multiple bets. If a market is not eligible, the Cash Out option will not appear.
Partial Cash Out allows adjusting the stake to cash out part of the bet, with the remainder settled on the final result. A time delay may apply to processing Cash Out transactions.
Free bets, promotions and some other offers may be excluded from Cash Out or affect Cash Out calculations as specified in the corresponding terms.

Sport‑specific rules (high‑level)

Football (Soccer): Bets on 90 minutes play plus injury time; extra time and penalties are not considered unless stated. A suspended or cancelled match is void unless otherwise specified. Bets for halftime and full‑time may have separate outcomes. In‑play markets include live events but not speculative extension unless stated.
American Football: Final results include overtime unless markets specify otherwise. In‑play markets follow official scoring as published by the league or governing body. Penalty outcomes and overtime rules apply as defined for each market.
Tennis: Bets void if a listed player withdraws before the match; if a match is shortened or moves surfaces unexpectedly, settlements follow the market rules. Best‑of formats and tournament progression bets may be void if conditions change.
Baseball: Official result is determined by the completed game, including extra innings where applicable. If a game is suspended and not resumed within the defined window, bets may be void.
Basketball and Ice Hockey: Final results typically include overtime unless markets specify otherwise. If a game is suspended or abandoned, settlements follow the official rules and timelines for the sport.

Account security, deposits, withdrawals and AML/KYC

Unibet applies customer verification and anti‑money laundering procedures consistent with applicable law. The operator may request documents to verify identity and source of funds before processing deposits or withdrawals.
Deposits and withdrawals are subject to security checks. Bets may be void if funds are not available at the time a bet is placed or if a payment is reversed by the processor.
Unibet reserves the right to suspend or close accounts where suspicious activity is detected or where regulatory requirements are not met.

Disputes, settlements and governing rules

For any dispute regarding a bet, the operator’s transaction logs and internal records are the primary source of truth. Unibet may consult independent score providers where necessary to determine settlements.
All bets are subject to the applicable terms and conditions, privacy policy and responsible gambling policy, which govern use and conduct on the platform.

Promotions, bonuses and terms of use

Promotional offers may have wagering requirements, time limits, and exclusions. Free bets and bonus funds are not eligible for Cash Out unless explicitly stated in the offer terms.
